A plethora of the outdoor industry’s most prestigious brands have signed up to attend The National Outdoor Expo 2022 including Partner Ordnance Survey and retail partner Ellis Brigham, as well as exhibitors including Vibram, Hoka One One, Adidas Terrex, Salomon, Saxx Underwear, Exposure Lights, Dometic, Aftershokz, Outdoor GPS Shop, Penny Appeal, Hund Energy, Harvey Maps, Dirtbags Climbing, Salewa, Dynafit, Flanci, PelliTec, Salkan, Exotogg, Outdoor Provisions, Cactus Drinkwell, Cathalan UK Ltd, Learn Bushcraft, Great Run Company, Mountain Action Holidays, Dewerstone, HealthyStep, Leaping Fish, Grangers, Latitude Adventures, Kidunk, The Outdoor Guide (TOG) and Helinox. This comes amid news that the 2021 Expo, scheduled for 27-28 March at the NEC in Birmingham, has been postponed due to the impact of Coronavirus in the UK.
In a bid to serve the Outdoor community, the company behind The National Outdoor Expo, Raccoon Events, is launching Outside & Active Festival over the weekend the 2021 Expo was due to take place (27-28 March 2021). The digital event will provide the outdoor community with access to a week of seminars, workshops, motivational speakers and expert opinion and is free to attend.
Commenting on the 2022 expo and the decision to postpone the 2021 launch event, Mike Seaman said: “We are delighted that so many of the outdoor industry’s top brands will be joining us at the National Outdoor Expo 2022. The Expo is set to be a highlight in the 2022 calendar, and we look forward to hosting some of the industry’s most inspiring names and bringing like-minded people together after such a long period of enforced separation.
“The decision to postpone the 2021 event was not taken lightly but as a company we felt that unless we were able to host an event full of hugs and high fives then it would be a disservice to the events we are so well known for. We want to host a safe, inclusive, and fully interactive event and felt postponing was the right decision for our community. While not the same as an in-person experience, we hope that the Outside & Active Festival will provide attendees with a sense of community, access to first rate speakers and expert advice and give attendees a taste of what the 2022 event will offer.”
The National Outdoor Expo 2022 will have six key areas: walking, climbing, eating outdoors, camping, excursions and running and is open to enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.
All ticket holders will be contacted with the option to transfer purchased tickets to the 2022 event plus a special offer to get a free ticket to The National Running Show South and The National Snow Show which are due to take place in 2021.
