Jam-packed full of entertaining and educational experiences throughout the weekend – if you enjoy the outdoors, this is the show for you.
The Bushcraft Show is jam-packed full of entertaining, educational and even emotional experiences throughout the weekend. We have pulled out all the stops to bring you 3 days full of bushcraft and survival skills, activities, demonstrations and talks. Once again, this is an international event with experts from America, Africa, Scandinavia and Europe joining us. You will also find an incredible array of demonstrations and activities run by the various businesses and organisations in the traders area. Many of these are free so make a point of getting involved.
You will have the opportunity to meet the legend of survival, author of the SAS survival handbook, John lofty Wiseman. Listen to his survival stories and valuable life saving knowledge that he has put to the test! One can boots be amazed by his astounding experiences.
We welcome Ed Stafford, who has been described as Britain’s most intrepid hero since Scott of the Antarctic. He is the Guinness world record holding first man to walk the entire length of the River Amazon and survived 60 days of isolation on a remote Island, having begun naked and marooned. These and other adventures have made Ed a Discovery Channel favourite!
Packed with outdoors activities
Take a stroll to the water sports lake and change your mode of transport to something aquatic. Launch your own or hire a canoe and paddle around the lake, test your skills on stand up paddle boards or in giant zorbs. Canoe Trail’s staff and Bushcraft Magazine’s Richard Harpham will be there to assist.
We once again welcome Jason Ingamells of Woodland Ways. Jason will share his skills and experience as an expeditioner, paddler and one of the world’s leading bushcraft instructors. His main stage talk is one not to missed!
Enjoy participating in, and watching a variety of fun and educational activities ranging from the low ropes course, whittling sessions, communal campfire, live entertainment, music, fire lighting, air rifle shooting, woodland crafts, expedition prep, woodland games, competitions, axe throwing, archery, leather crafts, knife sharpening and safety use, face painting, tracking, spoon carving, foraging and so much more…
