The National Outdoor Expo set to bring the best of the outdoors indoors in Birmingham this weekend

Do you love the great outdoors? Are you keen to spend more time outside? Inspiration, motivation and expert advice will be available in abundance at the National Outdoor Expo, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March at the NEC Birmingham.

Over 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the expo next weekend as outdoor enthusiasts of all ages immerse themselves in all things outdoors. This event is for everyone; and there is no better way to get inspired than hearing from some of the world’s greatest outdoor enthusiasts.

Visitors will have a chance to listen to, learn from and meet their outdoor idols. Speakers include award winning broadcaster and adventurer, Ben Fogle, television presenter Helen Skelton, on-screen wildlife photographer and cameraman, Hamza Yassin, presenter and outdoor pioneer, Julia Bradbury and adventurer and author Alastair Humphreys.

Interactive practical advice and products

The show, whose headline sponsor is Ordnance Survey, will be packed full of interactive features offering fun for all the family. A myriad of brilliant outdoor brands will provide visitors with a top-class shopping experience and features within the exhibition offer enthusiasts expert advice and products to suit individual needs. With lots of taster sessions and workshops including a Bushcraft Zone with Explore our Nature, a Climbing Wall sponsored by Salewa, Wildcountry and Evolv, a Zip Line, a Trail Running Zone sponsored by Harrier, a Flight Simulator from the British Gliding Association, a Mountain Safety and First Aid Hub in association with Mountain Rescue England and Wales, Helly Hansen and Ordnance Survey as well as a range of Watersports outside on Pendigo Lake there really is something to suit everyone at the expo.
