Lizzy has a passion, or maybe even an obsession with the outdoors, nature and travelling. She is an avid hiker, climber, horse rider and can also often be found paddling a kayak or open boat. Whenever she can she will always be outside in the fresh air.
Lizzy is a qualified Mountain Leader, a member of the BMC, trains and assesses Duke of Edinburgh, holds numerous paddling qualifications and is a Level 4 Remote Emergency Care first aider. She is also working towards her Rock Climbing Instructor Award.
She has led numerous walks in the UK and all over the world, from Everest Base Camp to the Arctic Circle trail. She has also done lots of personal trekking and travelling to many countries, from hiking in remote regions of Norway to winter mountaineering in the High Atlas mountains (including summiting Toubkal) and snowmobile guiding in Arctic Greenland.
Lizzy believes there is nothing better than the freedom and peacefulness that being out amongst nature and in the fresh air gives us – the space to think, breath and reconnect.
