We’re both lucky that our families took us hiking and camping from a young age, but it wasn’t until we were travelling through North and South America in 2016 that we realised just how important the outdoors are to us. Looking back at our travels it’s the times we spent in the wild that we reminisce about most. From trekking through Patagonia and setting up camp next to glacial rivers below snow-capped peaks, to dusty desert camps in Texas’s Big Bend National Park. Since returning home we’ve explored much more of the UK together, making an effort to fit in adventures whenever possible whilst holding down day jobs. Recently we combined bike touring and wild camping for the first time during a trip to the Inner Hebrides – something we hope to do more of in the future. While we particularly enjoy hiking and camping in Snowdonia and the Lakes, we believe outdoor adventures can be found everywhere – even right on our doorstep in the suburbs of Birmingham. When we aren’t out and about, you’ll find us sharing our favourite outdoors and travel reads through our Instagram feed.
