We are the Hauxwell Family, OS GetOutside champions and we are on a mission to help Brynn break down barriers to access places we never thought possible. You will usually find us outside in Shetland, along with our adventure cat Neko, no matter the weather (although Neko prefers sunny calm days and sleeps in her bag on bad days!) We spend our time taking in the incredible views and enjoying the amazing sunsets that Shetland has to offer and sharing them with people.
Brynn also likes to set the family challenges to push our bodies limits to the max. Last year as a family and with a team, we helped Brynn complete a gruelling 20K Wheelchair challenge across some of Shetland’s toughest terrains.
This year we are currently helping Brynn with another amazing challenge for charity, to push himself in his wheelchair 1679miles (the equivalent of Shetlands Coastline)
We hope to inspire and motivate more people no matter their ability to get outside more by sharing our story and adventures via social media.
