I am a jovial, supportive and determined person who loves the outdoors and challenges myself to achieve positive outcomes.
As an Ordnance Survey champion, I encourage others to get out and work with different communities to introduce them to the outdoors.
I enjoy participating in and leading different sports. I am motivated by a challenge to succeed and look forward to getting outside, training, and enjoying what I do to manage my health and wellbeing and keeping fit.
I started running as a coping mechanism for stress.
Running and cycling gives me the freedom to learn, practice and to overcome obstacles in achieving my goals, while supporting others.
I cycle on a regular basis with families and friends and always look forward to Love to Ride June and Cycle September to organise group rides in Sheffield and surrounding areas.
Peak District National Park is a place where I spend quality time, walking and cycling on my own and with friends. I am Peak District Mosaic walk leader. I organise group activities for Peak District Mosaic community champions, families and friends. For example, monthly walk groups, cycling sessions. I work in partnership with different organisations to encourage more families to get out into the countryside.
My mission is to continue supporting communities to access the outdoors to increase physical activity – walking, running and cycling, to enhance their health and wellbeing.
