I’ve been heavily involved in Scouting for most of my life. Firstly as a Guide and then as one of the first female Air Scouts in Ireland back in the late 80’s. Now living on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border, I’m a training advisor for Loughborough District Scouts and an assistant in Kegworth Scouts. I was crowned “global wellness warrior” in my company this year, out of over 3000 colleagues across the world. In my Scout group I teach pioneering and bushcraft, and love to inspire and encourage the young members to reach for the stars, be resilient and always trust their instincts. Throughout lockdown I’m really missing the hills, but I walk every morning across the fields where I live and have discovered a love of cycling again. I love camping, bushcraft, open fires, hiking, cycling and everything outdoors. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you!
