Lizzie Daly is a wildlife biologist, explorer, filmmaker and TV presenter celebrated for her adventurous spirit and passion for the natural world. Her work has taken her solo to some of the planet’s most extreme environments, from the Arctic and Antarctica to the depths of the Amazon.
Well known for her presenting on BBC, Sky TV, Animal Planet and Love Nature, Lizzie has fronted acclaimed series such as Deep Dive Australia, Deep Dive North America, and Jaguar Journals. She is also an experienced cinematographer and drone operator, often shooting much of her own content both for broadcast and her large online community.
Beyond the screen, Lizzie is a committed conservationist and academic. She uses cutting-edge tag technology to study the movements of wild animals as part of her PhD, and was recently awarded an honorary doctorate for her contributions to conservation and science communication. She is an ambassador for the Jane Goodall Institute, the Marine Conservation Society and the first female patron of ORCA.
An avid adventurer, Lizzie has completed a 140km solo ultramarathon in the Arctic Circle and is a dedicated climber, kayaker, scuba diver and freediver. Her first book, Life in the Wild, shares stories from her travels to inspire the next generation of nature lovers.
