In the last two years, The RSPCA has responded to over 8,000 litter incidents impacting wildlife.
The high prevalence of animals being entangled in the litter must stop as countless incidents continue to go unseen. The RSPCA has worked in partnership with The Outdoor Guide for a number of years working with schools to educate children and young people about the impacts of dropping litter. We are also supporting the Outdoor Guide Foundation, Waterproofs and Wellies project which ensures children receive the correct gear to spend time in nature see wildlife and enjoy the outdoors.
We hope you can pop by to see us today to hear about this amazing scheme, the work of the Outdoor Guide and the RSPCA and learn more about the dangers of leaving litter in our environment and the unexpected ways it can impact our treasured countryside and wildlife
