Fell running legend and Summit Editor Claire Maxted and BMC Access and Policy Officer Eben Muse will presenting our amazing array of FREE talks taking place every hour at the BMC stand.

The talks will explore a range of inspiring topics that highlight the BMC’s commitment to adventure, conservation, and access. We’ll kick things off with an update on Mend Our Mountains, showcasing how your support helps protect the landscapes we love. Then, we’ll dive into the launch of the 2025 Women in Adventure Film Competition, celebrating powerful stories from women in the outdoors.

You’ll discover ten key skills you’ll learn on a Mountain Training course, followed by a session on handling emergency scenarios with Mountain Rescue – vital knowledge for anyone venturing into the hills. We’ll also spotlight The Climate Project and how volunteers are making a real difference and how you can get involved, before discussing the importance of the Right to Roam and Access Land.

We’ll take a closer look at how BMC conservation volunteers are not only repairing footpaths but also fighting the climate crisis. We’ll revisit the essential skills from Mountain Training, and wrap up with thought-provoking screenings from The Landscape Project Films. It’s a packed agenda designed to inspire, educate, and connect you with the heart of what we do.
