Julia Bradbury

Credited with revamping Sunday night primetime television on BBC One’s Countryfile, and described as ‘both authoritative and warm’ by one tv critic Julia has an impressive career which has seen her launch three television channels, present numerous significant long term series including Watchdog, Top Gear and Countryfile,  as well as writing several books and turning walking into a primetime hit on the BBC and ITV.

As one of the small screen’s most popular and versatile faces Julia completed a personal goal of co-developing her own series, securing funding and playing a fundamental role in the commissioning process for ITV.

As the first female President of the Camping and Caravanning Club, she co-founded The Outdoor Guide (a free on line resource for the outdoors) with her sister Gina.

More recently, her documentary Breast Cancer and Me was shortlisted for a National Television Award and she was given the Most Inspirational Public Figure award at the Inspiration Awards for Women.  Furthermore, she continues her support with endless charities, including her own Outdoor Guide Foundation and The Pink Ribbon Foundation.
