‘I am interested in volunteering as a National Outdoor Expo Ambassador because I am passionate about spending time in the outdoors and sharing that passion with other people. Hiking and gravel biking are my favourite sports, and I am also an active scout leader. I currently work as a supervisor for an events company and do some freelance outdoor instructing on the side. I attended the National Outdoor Expo for the first time this year and shared my experience online – I particularly enjoyed taking part in the open-water swimming and kayaking activities.
