Allie’s life drastically changed direction after she was diagnosed as autistic in 2020 whilst studying at university. She had always wanted to live more adventurously but had consistently faced invisible barriers that she had never managed to overcome – until now.
Since her diagnosis, Allie has committed herself to advocating for the autistic community in the outdoors, with her debut children’s book The Autistic Guide to Adventure due to be published in April 2023. She will also be speaking at the Include Summit in May 2023, a conference focussed on equality, diversity and inclusion in sport.
