Anthony “Staz” Stazicker CGC spent 13 years within the British military, 10 of which were in the UK Special Forces. By the end of his decorated and distinguished military career, Staz had performed numerous roles from chief sniper instructor to demolitions expert. In 2013, Staz was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for combat actions in Afghanistan, the medal is second only to the Victoria Cross in terms of honour within the British military.
Upon leaving the military, Staz co-founded the high performance outerwear brand ThruDark alongside another former UK Special Forces operator Louis Tinsley. Staz tests each and every item of ThruDark clothing personally prior to release, in conditions and environments all over the world and recently completed a successful summit of Ama Dablam in November 2022.
