Almost 5 years ago running and the outdoors became a part of my life. After struggling with PND and seeing and hearing people recommend getting out and being active as a way to help mental health it was worth a go. I dusted off my trainers, headed out and managed 3km on my first run! Since then the distances have increased to now regularly running half marathons and even a few full marathons
Living in West Wales I have the perfect playground for doing what I enjoy the most – being outdoors! From on the top of a mountain or in the sea of the many local beaches, that’s where you’ll have a good chance of finding me exploring with the family and dogs.
Over the last 18 months I’ve also become a huge fan of cold water dips! The benefits and the feelings afterwards are something everyone should experience.
I’m a huge fan of colourful leggings and feel it can really brighten up you own mood and others around you, so much so I set up Be Your Happy Place Activewear. Where we encourage and support everyone on their own journey with our motto ‘Be you, Do You, For You’
