Gav and Shell Grayston are Ordonance Survey GetOutside champions a role they have been proud to be part of for the last four years.
Gav and Shell are parents to three kids, and co-founders of the blog ‘Get Out With The Kids’, and authors of the Adventure Handbook. They started the blog back in 2011 as a way to document their adventures.
The website is all about helping families enjoy quality time together outside by providing tips, help, challenges and inspiration for parents to get their kids enjoying the outdoors.
Gav and Shell are passionate advocates about getting kids outside and the benefits it brings. Their motto is to enjoy family time, one adventure at a time.
As a family, they have taken on lots of challenges including a canoe challenge for British Canoeing, a year-long camping and caravan challenge and a local Three Peak Challenge in harsh conditions.
The family can often be found in a tent, walking the hills, or in their caravan, squeezing as many adventures as they can into their weekends.
