Mark is a true advocate of enjoying the outdoors unrestricted. He has played a vital role in fighting the rights for unrestricted backpack camping on Dartmoor National Park. As an outdoor education teacher for students with additional needs Mark promotes how students can learn and regulate themselves from being immersed in the outdoors. How can we want to protect our planet without having access and being connected to it?
Mark’s recent trips have included the GR20 Corsica dumbed one of the most challenging hikes in Europe, the Skye Trail and the GR221 LimestoneWay Mallorca. Alongside hiking he loves packrafting and hammock camping and showcasing how you can open up adventure possibilities. Mark has plans to hike soon in the Ecrines National park in the Alps alongside continuing to champion a Dartmoor and unrestricted access to enjoy our countryside. Marks mantra is leave no trace leave it better than you found it and this forms his Core values and is central to his message on how to treat the outdoors.
