Mary-Ann is a presenter and author, and hiking ambassador for the British Mountaineering Council. She also likes exploring on horses, boats and bikes. She’s been lucky enough to travel widely for work, including to Tibet, the Chernobyl exclusion zone and across the north Pacific in a racing yacht. She also joined an expedition tracing archaeology in the remote Australian desert for 40 days with 17 pack camels. Mary-Ann’s written a book on how to spot archaeology in the British landscape, and she supports the charity Toilet Twinning – twin your loo with a long-drop somewhere in the world, and be part of the global sanitation solution.
