Megan Hine

Megan is a Wilderness Guide, survivalist, author, presenter & TV producer on the biggest adventure / survival shows on international TV.

Megan started out in the outdoor industry as an instructor when she was 17 and 20 years later specialises in accessing remote, wilderness locations for complex TV shoots. Megan has over 400 episodes of prime time adventure / survival shows under her belt scouting locations, developing the onscreen narrative and journeys and keeping teams safe in jungles, deserts and mountains the world over.

Megan and her team through her company Psyche Media Solutions, bridge the gap between dynamic infield safety and the creative narrative on a show. Megan is called in at the development of new format shows and has been a key part of creating Emmy award winning and nominated content. Megan also works closely with talent to help them look like the professionals they are on screen. Megan has worked with many of the best known faces from A list celebs to politicians and sports stars as well as up and coming new talent, keeping them safe and producing their content.

Megan also holds qualifications in psychology which alongside the extensive periods she has spent living and working with indigenous communities around the world & her fascination with survival skills, she is using this to better understand the psychology of survival through an evolutionary perspective. She is currently undertaking research in how the outdoors and adventurous activity can be used to develop resilience and treat anxiety.
