I have recently completed Project Limitless, a 13,000km triathlon from England to Everest in what is the longest climb of Mt Everest in history and the first ever triathlon to the top of the world. So far I have swum the English channel, cycled 12,000km across 18 countries to sea level in India, ran 900km to Kathmandu Nepal and trekked 360km to Everest base camp and completed the summit on the 11th May.
I am a former royal marine commando now charity fundraiser / adventurer and conservationist. Before the military I studied zoology and worked with animals and now I do adventures raising funds for mental health, veteran and wildlife charities.
I have also rowed 5000km across the Atlantic Ocean, I’m one of youngest people to climb Kilimanjaro solo at 16, I have cycled unsupported 5000km across the USA, set a world record in the Lake District (swimming every lake back to back and running in between each one) completed an Ironman triathlon pulling my 32kg golden retriever and much more.
My message and story are all about resilience and cheerfulness in the face of adversity. It’s about relentless positivity and spreading the word that you don’t have to be a super athlete or superhuman to achieve your wildest dreams. I have had two knee surgeries and I am a very average athlete.
With just a small change in mindset you can achieve anything. I talk about how to channel adversity, grief and loss into a superpower and how everyone can use the same concepts to not only survive but to thrive. How to master compartmentalism, accept failure and find your own tools for personal resilience.
