When I’m outside, I feel like me, the best version of me. I feel capable, competent, curious, open. I feel at peace, and like I can breathe. It’s good thinking time, but also good ‘just being’ time.
I love wild places. I spend as much time as I can long-distance hiking, camping, paddle-boarding and surfing. I’m a keen photographer and love documenting people’s enjoyment in nature.
I am an Ordnance Survey GetOutside Champion, and Chief Queen of the Sussex Adventure Queens group. In March 2020 I gave a talk at the Piccadilly Arc’teryx store about Women in Adventure, and really enjoy the sense of community and camaraderie that the outdoors “family” gives me. I love inspiring other people to have their own adventures, big or small.
