Spencer Matthews is an endurance athlete, health advocate, founder, and entrepreneur.
He holds a Guinness World Record for completing 30 marathons in 30 days on sand in 2024. He has also completed the Jungle Ultra and Marathon des Sables, and is currently in training for his next World Record attempt and philanthropic endeavour – Project 7 – 7 Ironmans on 7 continents in 4 weeks.
Motivated by the idea of inspiring people to push themselves further, Spencer hosts the UNTAPPED podcast where he sits down with guests from all walks of life to understand how they have overcome personal challenges and found their untapped potential.
An active philanthropist, Spencer has fundraised for a variety of charities through his sporting challenges, including Global’s Make Some Noise. His latest challenge, Project 7, will raise funds for male suicide prevention charity James’ Place. Spencer is also director of The Michael Matthews Foundation, which educates thousands of disadvantaged children in Africa in memory of his late brother.
Driven by his personal relationship with alcohol, Spencer founded CleanCo in 2019, which has become an award-winning non-alcoholic spirit brand, sold globally.
